Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp Celtic sea salt

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter or refined coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup Frank's red hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Celtic sea salt

Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Farenheight. Line roasting pan with tin foil and brush oil onto roasting rack.

  2. Pat wings & drums until dry with paper towel.

  3. Mix baking powder and salt in large plastic bag. Add chicken (make sure it is dry first) and shake to coat.

  4. Place chicken skin side up on roasting rack. Bake on lower oven shelf for 30 minutes.

  5. Then move wings to higher oven shelf, increase oven temperature to 450 degrees Farenheight, and bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown on top.

  6. Note: do not rotate or turn wings; keep skin side up.

  1. Melt butter with hot sauce, coconut sugar, and salt in small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk to combine.

  2. Place wings in bowl and pour sauce over the wings. Cover with a lid or plate and shake until well coated. Serve immediately.
