Indian Curry-Spiced Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion red or white
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 black pepper red or green
  • 2 Tbsp lard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 cup curry powder
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 inch ginger peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric, ground
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos or Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in skillet, while cutting up veggies, mincing garlic and ginger, and measureing spices.
  2. Add all ingredients to browned meat and stir well. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir again and let cook another few minutes.
  3. Serve with Homemade Gluten Free Naan covered with a butter and fresh cilantro topping.
