This Cinnamon Raisin Apple Crisp recipe is made with wholesome ingredients, no refined sweeteners, is gluten-free, & contains nourishing coconut oil. (Easily make this recipe Paleo by using the topping in this Grain Free Berry Crisp recipe.)
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 8x8 pan or deep dish pie plate.
Peel, core, & slice apples. Add remaining filling ingredients & stir to combine.
Dump into greased pan.
Melt coconut oil/butter in small saucepan.
Combine remaining ingredients, add coconut oil/butter & stir with fork until well combined.
Pour topping over the base filling layer and spread evenly.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees until golden brown and bubbly on top.
For the base layer/filling you can use 3/4-1 tsp of apple pie spice instead of each individual spice to save yourself some time. That's what I do!
